The Lantern is the offical student publication of the students of Butler Community College, and is published every Tuesday during the semester, except for Thanksgiving week, spring break and finals week.

Letters to the Editor may be sent to room 103, The Lantern newsroom, by 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Letters must be signed for publication and may be edited for the Kansas Associated Collegiate Press style.
